I moved to the Atlanta area in 2022 with over 31 years in the medical field, 15 of those in private acupuncture practice. After a 17 year career as a Respiratory Therapist, I enrolled in the program at Dragon Rises College in Gainesville, FL. Graduating in 2008 with a Master in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and a Bachelor of Health Sciences, I began my private practices in Tallahassee and Gainesville, FL while teaching classes and supervising student practitioners at the college’s clinic. I also directly assisted the world-renowned Dr. Leon Hammer, running his pulse intensive seminars for practitioners from all over the world from 2007-2014 and taught Shen-Hammer Pulse classes and his CDM series of theories and methodologies at DR College until 2017. One of the very few Certified Shen-Hammer Pulse and CDM instructors in the world, I continued in-person and online communications with Dr. Hammer until his passing in 2023 and continue to teach pulse seminars in the Southeast. I have served on the Governing Board of DR College and am now Chair of The Dr. Leon Hammer Legacy Foundation.
I am also a Certified Level II Biomagnetic Pairing Therapist, earning my Diploma in Biomagnetic Pairing Therapy from Goiz University in 2018 and have performed thousands of scans over the last 5+ years.
My varied knowledge and experience of both Eastern and Western medicine allows for a very comprehensive approach to wellness. I am licensed in both Florida and Georgia and am a National Diplomate of Acupuncture with the NCCAOM.
On a personal note, I am a married mother of 4 grown children and 2 terrier-mix puppies. Having grown up in Florida, I enjoy all outdoor activities, gardening, being near the water, live music, and spending time with friends and family.
